Search engines place a great deal of importance on title tags, and while you want your post titles to attract readers, it is optimal to consider Google when creating SEO title tags.
Titles to Attract Readers & Titles Tags for Search Engines
Unfortunately people do not excited about keywords. That is why an intriguing post title is required to get them to read, and to get them to link. Take this post, and what a coincidence it’s about title tags, Title Tags and the secret story of the hairy golf ball from Cornwall SEO.
But how many people will search hairy golf ball? And then what are the odds that those people want to read an SEO blog? Well, that is why your post title tags need to have “their balls shaved” so to say. I would not suggest of course stuffing these with keywords, because you of course still want people to click on the results in the search engine.
